LOGIX Launches Free Internet Wireless Service at The Sub Stop in the Downtown Concourse

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 10, 2004) – LOGIX Communications is turning downtown Oklahoma City into the newest “hot spot” for Internet technology by providing free WiFi wireless Internet service at The Sub Stop, a restaurant located in the Downtown Concourse near 100 Park Avenue.  The newly installed WiFi service will allow people in downtown Oklahoma City to bring their laptop computers or other wireless devices to The Sub Stop and enjoy reliable, high-speed access to the Internet, free of charge.

The new WiFi hot spot is part of LOGIX’s SMART BuildingSM technology, currently installed at the 100 Park Avenue office building in downtown Oklahoma City.  SMART Building by LOGIX provides office buildings with an internal telecommunications system that delivers immediate, reliable high-speed digital phone and broadband Internet service to all building tenants.  LOGIX provides free WiFi wireless Internet access in the common areas of buildings using SMART Building.

The Sub Stop is LOGIX’s second WiFi location in Oklahoma City, having recently launched the first location at 50 Penn Place.  Additional WiFi hot spots by LOGIX are planned as more buildings adopt SMART Building.
