LOGIX EXPANDS ITS SMART BUILDING NETWORK IN OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS

HOUSTON, TX (January 22, 2008) - Houston-based LOGIX Communications announced the addition of two SMART BuildingsSM.  SMART BuildingsSM are in-building networks that bring tenants immediate, easy-to-use and fully integrated business-class voice and broadband data services.
Joining the LOGIX family is First Place Tower, a skyscraper in downtown Tulsa featuring 41 stories and over 624,000 sq. ft.  At 157 meters (516 ft) in height, it is the third tallest building in Oklahoma.

Also under contract with LOGIX is Energy Plaza I and II in San Antonio. Located on North New Braunfels, each tower has seven floors with nearly 180,000 sq. ft. of space.  San Antonio’s famed Petroleum Club takes up the 7th floor of one tower.

A major advantage of a LOGIX’ SMART BuildingSM is immediate service.  Connecting to a building’s pre-wired network allows business owners to avoid the time delays and coordination problems normally associated with business relocations. LOGIX’ SMART BuildingsSM extend productivity beyond the desktop by providing free wireless Internet (WIFI) in common areas, conference rooms and restaurants.

“We are delighted to welcome First Place Tower and Energy Plaza I and II to LOGIX,” said CEO Matt Asmus.  “Our new customers join a large, steadfast client base that depends on LOGIX to deliver business class telecommunication and broadband data services to thousands of customers each day.”
